"content": "Today, there are solutions that are available and affordable that can be implemented to help the country manage the water systems. We should embrace water recycling so that we do not end up losing this important resource. If we embrace intelligent water technology into our day-to-day usage, we will save more than 60 per cent of water that goes to waste. If you look at half a litre of a bottle of water bought from a supermarket, if you turn that into the litres we lose, you will see that we are losing lots of money that can be saved and used in more pressing issues. Therefore, it must be a policy of the Government. As leaders, we must preach to our people the importance of incorporating intelligent water systems when constructing. As I wind up, I thank Members who stood and contributed to this Motion. I urge them not to stop there. As they go to the barazas, church services, meetings or television shows, let them remind Kenyans that we have an obligation to ensure we collectively conserve our environment, so that it becomes sustainable for the future generation. This is something we are obliged to do. We should meet development goals while ensuring sustainability so that we do not lose the opportunity for the future generation to use this country and enjoy its fruits as we did. Mr. Speaker, Sir, I beg to reply."
