    "content": "Hon. Senators, yesterday, the presiding Speaker made a Communication that affected three Senators. This was as a result of the utterances that they made in the House in the course of the debate last week on Tuesday, 18th July, 2023. The three Senators are Sen. Cherarkey, Sen. Beth Syengo and Sen. Maanzo. During yesterday’s afternoon Sitting, Sen. Maanzo was absent in the House, not intending to be present. Now that he is here and feels that he is carrying a heavy load on his back, I want to give him an opportunity, pursuant to Standing Order No.105 (2), to forthwith substantiate the claims. Let me read him the claims. Sen. Samson Cherarkey, MP, sought the intervention of the Chair, to require Sen. Daniel Maanzo, MP to substantiate the statement that “what is happening in Sondu is politically instigated.” Sen.
