Temporary Speaker, I beg your indulgence and that of the House to skip Order No.12—the Second Reading of the Food and Feed Safety Control Coordination Bill (National Assembly Bill No.21 of 2023). This Bill is before two Committees: the Departmental Committee on Health and Departmental Committee on Agriculture and Livestock. The Chairperson of the Departmental Committee on Health was here. He was supposed to give this information. They are still considering the Report. Being a Joint Committee, they were unable to finish during the recess. However, the Chairperson of the Departmental Committee on Health indicated to me that they will meet this week to try and finalise their Report. Once they table their Report, hopefully, we will continue the Second Reading of the Bill. I, therefore, beg that you indulge us."
