There are many corporations that invest in this country and we feel happy about it and yet in the real sense, what they get vis-à-vis what Kenya enjoys for hosting and providing them with an opportunity to invest in this country, are not compatible. It is a well-known patriotic philosophy across countries nowadays, that even as you negotiate in trade deals, you first look out for your national interests vis-à-vis that of those who are investing in the country. Therefore, we will be keenly following this Petition that is before that Committee. Madam Temporary Speaker, with those many remarks, I support the reports that have been tabled. We will continue to keenly follow the works and operations of our committees. Thank you, Madam Temporary Speaker."
