Members, the House Business Committee took cognizant of the fact that under Standing Order 40, which provides for the sequence of proceedings in one week, individual Members' Bills are only allocated a maximum of three hours, which is very little time compared to the volume of Bills that are from individual Members. Consequently, the House Business Committee resolved to allocate time on Wednesday afternoons for consideration of individual Members' Bills.
