Last year, Maseno University was investigated and the nature of complaint was financial impropriety on the part of the Vice-Chancellor. The Vice-Chancellor and his deputies were to be surcharged to recover the public funds. That is the action taken. 2. There was alleged irregular procurement of goods and services at the Kenya Tourism Development Corporation. The Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Bondo Kajumbi, was sacked. 3. There were irregularities in procurement of airport expansion tender at the Kenya Airports Authority. The recommendations were forwarded to the Ministry of Transport for implementation."
