The Ministry proposes to establish seed money for a revolving fund under the State Department for Livestock Development to fund the purchase of hides and skins for processing. The Ministry is currently supporting the mopping up of hides and skins by the Ewaso Nyiro South Development Authority (ENSDA) and the State Department of Arid and Semi-Arid Lands within the Regional Development Department and other State agencies.
