    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I have two Statements. The first one is on transfer of land ownership under Voi Point Limited to the local community in Mkamenyi Village. Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I rise pursuant to Standing Order No.53(1) to request for a Statement from the Standing Committee on Land, Environment and Natural Resources regarding transfer of land under Voi Point Limited to the local community in Mkamenyi Village in Taita-Taveta County. In the Statement, the Committee should- (1) State the progress made in reverting the ownership of land under the Voi Point Limited to the local community in Mkamenyi Village in Taita-Taveta County, stating the total acreage of land under Voi Point Limited and the total acreage of land ceded to the community so far. (2) Indicate whether Voi Point Limited has plans to allow public access to the road in the said land that links Mkamenyi Village and Mombasa-Nairobi Highway."
