    "content": "The object of the UNCRPD is to promote, protect and ensure the full and equal enjoyment of all human rights and fundamental freedoms by all persons with disabilities and to promote respect for their inherent dignity. Kenya ratified the Convention on 19th May, 2008 and, therefore, under the obligation to respect, protect and fulfil the provisions of the Convention. Article 206 of the Constitution provides that any Treaty or Convention ratified by Kenya shall form part of the laws of Kenya. In this regard, the Convention is also part of the laws of Kenya."
