I beg to ask the Cabinet Secretary for Education the following Question- (a) Could the Cabinet Secretary state the total amount owed by the TSC to the teachers’ SACCOs and the two trade unions namely; the Kenya Union of Post Primary Education Teachers (KUPPET) and the Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT)? (b) Why the TSC delays remittances to the teachers’ unions and SACCO. Could the Cabinet Secretary provide a timeline for the remittances of the dues? (c) State the total pending capitation owed by the Ministry to schools; that is public primary schools, junior schools and secondary schools?"
