    "content": "Even in Nandi County, we have two marginalised communities; the Talai and the Ogiek. The Ogiek predominantly live in Sergoit both in Nandi Hills and Tinderet Constituency. According to the Population and Housing Census of 2019, there were only 20,000 Ogieks and they live up to Bomet, Kericho, Trans Nzoia, Uasin Gishu, Baringo, Narok and Nakuru in the famous Mau Strap, which they consider their original home."
