Speaker, to the best of my mind, the Data Protection Act does not obligate the registration of data processors to be companies registered under the law of Kenya, and I have said this with a caveat because I could be wrong. If it does, then definitely, that is an oversight. If it does not, then it means we must amend the law going forward in consonance with the sentiments by the Members to make sure that, that becomes an extra accountability layer for the future."
