First of all, I would just like to acknowledge the fact that not only did this Committee look at financial years that were not within their purview, but they also went further to look at other financial reports for previous years to emphasise just how important it is for us to audit the funds that our people receive. First of all, I would like to look at the Funds that have been listed, especially the key ones because the Committee oversees many others. One thing that really pains me, and I have experienced this even in Nyamira County, is that when you go to an office like the Women Enterprise Fund, you find that there are not enough officers. That explains why some of the reports that they give are very inefficient.
