    "content": "The only thing that I did not see in this proposed Bill, which I know the House will have an opportunity to add and enrich in the Third Reading, is a proposal of penalties. There needs to be some powers given to the relevant authority to take action against individuals found to be circulating or distributing food that has not been certified to be fit for human consumption. We cannot be legislating in vain. We cannot be passing Bills in vain. This law should act as a deterrence and prevent unscrupulous business people from distributing food that does not meet The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposesonly.
