The third Message conveys that on 1st August 2023, the Senate considered and passed the Employment (Amendment) Bill (Senate Bill No.11 of 2022) without amendments. The said Bill was published vide Kenya Gazette Supplement No.198 of 30th November 2022 to anchor into law the right of employees to disconnect from employers and have their personal time and privacy respected by their employers during out of work hours."
