"content": " Thank you very much, Hon. Speaker. On the issue of the vervet monkeys, I am aware of the menace that the monkeys are causing. One of the strategies that we have is to relocate them. We are working on it currently. The Nairobi National Park has two ecosystems of environment: forest and the Savannah. We are thinking of relocating the monkeys, not necessarily to Nairobi National Park, but it is one of the parks we might relocate them to. On whether people will be compensated or not, according to the Wildlife Conservation Management Act, and its Schedule on compensation, these monkeys are not in the schedule for compensation. Therefore, if this House finds it worthy to review the Act, we will be willing to compensate. Thank you, Hon. Speaker."
