"content": "On a point of order, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. I said that I had brought a similar Question here. In my Question, I had asked the Government to give a comparison of what is being borrowed from the banks and what is being borrowed through Ministries. The trend has been that people have been getting money directly from Ministries. It is cheaper and they have shunned taking loans from banks because the rates are not reasonable. If you can get 6 per cent from the Government, why would you get it at 14 per cent or 16 per cent from the banks? Why would the Government be funding operations of banks if people are not borrowing money? Is the Assistant Minister in order to mislead the House while it is very clear that people are avoiding banks and preferring to take money directly from the Ministries?"
