    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Temporary Chairman. I just want to request that, for purposes of the future, we should get paginated documents. I want to make reference and seek clarity from the Chairperson. I do not know whether it is the Advocates Act that talks about advocate-client confidentiality and how it relates with this provision. Unfortunately, because of the way the document is organised, I do not know whether I saw the issue of advocate-client confidentiality here or in the Bill. At the same time, this provision does not protect advocate-client confidentiality. Personally, I do not care because I do not practise anymore. Therefore, I have no conflict of interest. Within that framework, I still want to protect other lawyers. The provision was either in the main Bill or in a proposed amendment. This will ensure we do not have a possibility of a clash between the Advocates Act and the Law Society of Kenya Act."
