"content": "THAT, the Schedule to the Bill be amended- s.8 Insert the following new subsection immediately after the proposed new subsection (3) — (4) The act of a lawyer, notary and other independent legal professional seeking to dissuade a client from engaging in an illegal activity does not constitute the offence of tipping-off under this section. This is to ensure that advocates, notaries, public, and other independent legal professionals are not guilty of the offence of tipping off, if they do what this section provides. Tipping off is an offence under various laws in the country."
