Temporary Chairman, I beg to move: THAT, the Schedule to the Bill be amended in the proposed amendments to the Proceeds of Crime and Anti-Money Laundering Act (No. 9 of 2009) by inserting the following additional amendments in proper chronological sequence— s.44 Insert the following proviso in subsection (3)— “Provided that lawyers, notaries and other independent legal professionals may submit reports under this subsection through the Law Society of Kenya which shall establish reporting channels to the Centre.” The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposesonly.
