Charges have also been preferred. Let us leave the due process of law to take place. I can assure you that we shall investigate the allegations on the question of competition between matatus owned by the police and those owned by wananchi . That is also under investigations and if it is found to be correct, disciplinary action will be taken against such police officers if they are, indeed, involved in that competition . We do not want confrontation. I want to appeal to you, because the OCS is acting on the matter, to calm down the situation on the ground."
