This industry contributes close to Ksh10 billion annually to the economy and, therefore, they must be protected. The role of the police is to take care of the Kenyan people and their property. The police have failed in this and hence people have been killed as Hon. Emaase has indicated. Bodaboda riders are being killed almost every day yet we have police in Busia County. We cannot say that the security apparatus are not there."
