    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir. Today, I am happy to see the Climate Change (Amendment) Bill (National Assembly Bills No.42 of 2023) before the Senate. I have already proposed a Bill which is supposed to come before this House on carbon credits. In Marsabit County, we have the Lake Turkana Wind Power Project in Loiyangalani, Laisamis Constituency. Carbon credits are also called carbon offsets. It is a measurable and a result-based way of companies to support activities which are governed in other countries by respective regulations.
