    "content": "Therefore, as much as we pass this Bill, the Government also needs to be aware and reduce, and avoid all projects that destroy our environment. Climate change is real and the people of Kenya need to be educated on the importance of maintaining our environment. In Europe, you are fined for littering the road. Those people manage and take care of their environment. However, you realise that in our country, people do not care and they litter all over. That is one way that contributes to these droughts and all sorts of diseases. Therefore, we need to take this opportunity. In as much as we pass this Bill, they will be good in books if we do not educate our people on the importance of maintaining our environment and the climate change issues. They need to realise that climate change is real and we need to take care of our environment. With those few remarks, I support the Bill. I hope it will also help this country to change the way we look at climate change and take care of our environment. Thank you, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir."
