    "content": "Thank you very much Hon. Deputy Speaker. I first stand to support the amendment of this Bill on climate change and carbon credit. The carbon credit trading is a new platform that will be a revenue earner for this country. We all know that we have two levels of government. We must ensure that counties where forests grow will also benefit from the carbon trading. It is surprising that Kenya is almost number two in Africa in terms of carbon credit trading, while we do not have a regulatory framework.
