I beg to give notice of the following Motion: THAT, taking into consideration the findings of the Departmental Committee on Justice and Legal Affairs, in its report on vetting of a nominee for approval as the Director of Public Prosecutions laid on the Table of the House on Thursday, 14th September 2023, and pursuant to Article 157(2) of the Constitution and Section 8(1) of the Public Appointments (Parliamentary Approval) Act 2011, this House approves the appointment of Mr Renson Mulele Ingonga, OGW, as the Director of Public Prosecutions of the Republic of Kenya. Thank you."
