    "content": " Hon Temporary Chairman, I beg to move: THAT, Clause 6 (1) of the Bill be amended: (a) by deleting paragraph (a) and substituting therefor the following new paragraph - “(a) a non-executive chairperson appointed by the President.” (b) by deleting paragraph (c) and substituting therefor the following new paragraph - “(c) two representatives each elected by private and public owned sugar mills who are knowledgeable in sugar technology and value addition.” The appointment of a Chairperson by the President is in line with the Mwongozo Code."
