Temporary Chairman, I beg to move: THAT Clause 7 of the Bill be amended — (a) by inserting the words “upon election or nomination as the case may be” appearing in subclause (1) immediately after the words “further term”; and, (b) by deleting sub clause (2). Hon. Temporary Chairman, I propose a further amendment to Clause 7 because when I reflected on my initial proposal, I think we need to have some further amendment."
