It is important the Committee be given more time to consider these Regulations that will govern all the crops similar to miraa including Muguka, Khat and others. The reason why we could not complete the scrutiny in time and consider those Regulations is because the Cabinet Secretary in charge of Agriculture and Livestock Development was unwell last week when we summoned him together with the Council of Governors (COG).
