We do not have Turkanas and Samburus. We have the KDF under the leadership of the Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Forces. I think I used to hear that story when I was a Member of Parliament (MP) where you say, “remove this Officer-in-Charge of Station (OCS) because he comes from that community. That does not work in KDF. They are Kenyans and they know the terrain. It is not only Samburus who will know the terrain, we have very good officers in Samburu. In fact, the Major General in charge of training policy and operations at KDF"
