    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I rise, pursuant to Standing Order No.53(1) to seek a Statement from the Standing Committee on Finance and Budget on the status of pending bills in counties. In the Statement, the Committee should- (1) Provide a comprehensive report on all pending bills per county, indicating the financial years the bills accrued and the steps the Government is taking to facilitate the settlement of the bills. (2) State the role of the Controller of Budget in expediting the settlement of all pending bills by county governments."
