"content": "Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, it is very unfortunate that in this financial year, the Ministry of Medical Services does not have resources for training. It means that our young doctors who are serving in our hospitals cannot go for their Masters. One of the reasons why young doctors join the public sector is because there has always been that hope and assurance that they will go for postgraduate studies. If they are not financed for postgraduate studies, there is a tendency for them to resign, join the private sector and see how they can finance themselves to go for training. Therefore, those are issues that concern the public and proper service delivery. I hope we will address them very soon."
