Senators, pursuant to Standing Order No.238 (1), the Petition shall be committed to the relevant Committee and in this case, I direct that the same be committed to the Standing Committee on Land, Environment and Natural Resources. Now, in terms of Standing Order No.238(2), the Committee is required in not more than 60 calendar days, from the time of reading this prayer, which is today, to respond to the petitioner by way of a report and lay the same report on the Table of the Senate. Thank you."
