    "content": "As the Senate proposed in the report, the Mediation Committee now recommends to this House that both Houses approve the new version, which will include an amendment to Clauses 2(e) and 2(f) in the proposed amendment Bill. Then Senate will become part and parcel of the reporting mechanism of the debt reports that come to the House. This is a straightforward issue. Nonetheless, the trophy and the honour go to our Budget and Finance Committee. This is important because, on many occasions, some Committees and I do not have any in mind – to avoid Members reaching out to me later to ask the Committee I was referring to – are not as diligent as this. If Members from the Budget and Finance Committee had not flagged this situation and held their ground the National Assembly would never have acceded to this. I am glad that you stood your ground this is why we are here today. We celebrate their good work. With those few remarks, given it is a straightforward amendment and something we had discussed at length, I beg to Move and request Sen.
