    "content": " Hon. Temporary Speaker, once again, I will emphasise the importance of this Bill, which we have just passed into law. This Bill will link communities with the health system. Community health promoters or workers are the basic link between communities and the health system. I appeal to all Members to support them and ensure that they are community members. They should not be transferred. They should belong to the community. When the time comes, we should provide funding for this Bill. This is because primary healthcare promoters will work effectively if they are linked with financing at Level 2 and 3 hospitals. We will work through them. As we come up with committees for Level 2 and Level 3 hospitals, we should incorporate community healthcare promoters. If we do that, we will see a significant change. That is what made Ethiopia a leader in healthcare and led the current Director of the World Health Organisation (WHO), who is from Ethiopia, to get the job. If we follow that route, we will go a long way. I support the Bill."
