    "content": "On 29th September, 2023, the Office of the Clerk, through the Directorate of Litigation and Compliance Services, was served with the aforementioned orders together with the pleadings on behalf of the Clerk of the Senate, the Speaker of the Senate, the Committee on Powers and Privileges and the Senate of the Republic of Kenya. This matter was brought to the attention of the Senate Business Committee (SBC) at its 24th meeting held on Tuesday, 3rd October, 2023. Upon extensive deliberation on the matter, the Committee resolved to oppose the Petition and the Judicial Review Application by Sen.
