    "content": "Thank you, Madam Temporary Speaker. I rise, pursuant to Standing Order No.53 (1), to seek a Statement from the Standing Committee on Labour and Social Welfare, regarding the status of the ownership of the land of Tom Mboya Social Hall in Makadara Constituency. In the Statement, the Committee should- (1) State the current holder of the registered title for the land where the Tom Mboya Social Hall is situated; (2) Explain whether the social hall is still a public facility and if not, state when its ownership changed hands and provide the legal basis for the same; (3) Clarify the circumstances leading to a private developer fencing off the public facility, preventing public access, outlining the measures implemented to address this situation; and (4) Present a comprehensive report assessing the current ownership status of all public social amenities and related facilities within Nairobi County.
