    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, for welcoming the special team from Homa Bay County; students from Homa Bay County. Homa Bay is a known region of brains. So, the students are not here by accident, neither are they at the university by accident. We have had top notch brains from the country. Not 1, 2, 3, 10, 15, 50, or 100, but more than that. To the students from the county and on behalf of Senator M. Kajwang’, I welcome you in a special way to the Senate. The Senate does oversight, legislation and representation of the people, especially the counties. Our Senator, Sen. M, Kajwang’ and I are here to watch over the many services that the people of Homa Bay County should get. As you see in the Senate, we have a number of young senators, just like you. We have “Queen of the North”; we have Sen. Tabitha Mutinda, Sen. Okenyuri, Sen. “VIP” Asige, Sen. Oketch Gicheru, Sen. Orwoba and many others. So, this is a House of brains and of young people too. Feel welcome to the Senate and come another time. I am nominated Senator, Sen. Beatrice Ogola. The ODM party nominated me to I serve in the Senate."
