    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I rise pursuant to Standing Order No.53(1) to seek a Statement from the Standing Committee on Education regarding the failure by the Ministry of Education to harmonize the issuance of scholarships nationwide. In the Statement, the Committee should- (1) State the reason(s) for failure by the Ministry of Education to harmonize the issuance of scholarships and bursaries nationwide. (2) Explain why needy students still struggle to transition from primary to secondary schools and to tertiary education institutions despite there being a Government directive/policy on 100 per cent transition, yet there are Government scholarships and bursaries that are supposed to help them in this transition;"
