Senators who are practitioners in the court, when a witness appears before you, you have the benefit of looking at that witness. You see the eyes, the demeanour of that witness and even appreciate the voice in terms of presentation; whether that person is actually telling the truth. You have the opportunity to ‘feel’ that witness. Now, the Senate is going to sit as a court. I am trying to appeal to the legal minds on the other side, since we are sitting as a court---"
