Allow me to commend the Chairperson of the Committee on Delegated Legislation for the timely amendments he has brought to the Statutory Instruments Act. The Act has been in force since 2012. I sat in the Committee on Delegated Legislation in the 12th Parliament and we did a lot of work together with Hon. (Dr) Oundo who is seated across the aisle and many others. It was first chaired by Hon. Deputy Speaker, Hon. Gladys Boss and later by Hon. William Kamket."
