    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Temporary Speaker for this opportunity to contribute to the President’s Speech, which he gave when I was away, but I followed it keenly. First, I thank the President for making sure that teachers are employed. For the first time, the President, during his tenure, has ensured that more than 50,000 teachers were employed. That has gone a long way in improving education in our schools. It has increased the ratio of teachers to the number of students. I want to urge the Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Education, to ensure that the capitation comes on time because the teachers without the resources in classes may affect some learning. On the same note in his manifesto, he said that all girls are going to be given sanitary towels. I, therefore, want to request the Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Education to ensure that those sanitary towels are available to our girls. That will improve the education of our girls.
