    "content": "Secondly, I thank the President on the issue of the UHC, where we have the community health promoters. That was a very important step because these diseases can be detected early enough and we therefore end up having a healthy nation. A healthy nation is a wealthy nation. Thirdly, I thank the President because of the availability of subsidised fertilisers. I come from an area where we grow maize and my farmers are really enjoying. Some of my constituents also practice pastoralism, in areas like Kacheliba and Sigor constituencies. I request the President, as he goes ahead to ensure agriculture is done in our country, pastoralists must also be considered because it is their main source of livelihood. The steps that the President took are welcome. On the security issue, the President has done a lot to improve security in our areas. There are, however, some grey areas like the borders of Pokot and Turkana. Those are areas that we still have issues of killings. I urge the Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Interior and National Administration to do something. We recently saw some of my people being killed by our neighbours in Turkana. I urge the Cabinet Secretary to work on that. The President is otherwise doing a lot and I only urge his Cabinet Secretaries to implement his manifesto and everything will be good for our people.
