I rise to bring to your attention the fact that on 18th October this year, I requested for a Statement from the Chairperson of the Departmental Committee on Social Protection. The Chair undertook to bring a reply within two weeks. On the 8th of this month, I requested for another Statement regarding abduction of two of my constituents, who are still missing. Despite my protest at that time that two weeks would be a long time, we settled on two weeks as per the direction of the presiding Speaker.
