    "content": " Hon. Temporary Speaker, I wish to thank Members for their immense and valuable contribution in support of this Motion. I want to confirm that the Committee has noted the various issues that have been raised. We will make it clear to the Ministry to effectively take the steps to implement and legislate on the objects of the convention that are very dear to Kenyans. I beg that this House adopts this Motion and ratifies the 1970 UNESCO Convention on the Means of Prohibiting and Preventing the Illicit Import, Export and Transfer of Ownership of Cultural Property. I beg to reply and request that pursuant to Standing Order 53 (3) to defer the putting the question to a later date.
