Once a Committee has gone through the rigorous process of holding hearings and comes up with recommendations for the Petitioner to feel that they got any assistance from the Senate, it is for those recommendations to be implemented. The implementation of those recommendations may not necessarily rest on the shoulders of the Committee Members. Any Member of this Senate can pick up the recommendations, either looking at the legislative gaps and wanting to fill them or taking any other step, including bringing a Motion based on those recommendations. Again, the Senate can do so much. Let us not restrict ourselves to just the Committee having come up with recommendations, it becomes the only one that can take the matter forward."
