    "content": "If you look at the money that has been allocated to this Ministry vis-Ă -vis what has been allocated to the Ministry of State for Defence, and yet our army has never gone to war at any time, you will realize that we do not provide security to our people. For example, we only have one police station in my constituency that covers three districts at the moment. This has largely contributed to insecurity in the area. The police in that station do not have a good vehicle because the one they have is not serviceable. In order to provide better services to the people we should ensure that the security personnel, be they APs or regular police, can move around when called upon to attend to situations that arise from time to time. There are police stations and posts that have officers and yet they cannot respond to cases when they arise. This is because of lack of facilities. Even as we think about recruitment, we should think about making those who have already been recruited and posted to various stations, able to discharge their duties. That should be a primary concern. It should be an area we should look at with a lot of keenness."
