Deputy Speaker, while in the Committee of the whole House, the House considered to conclusion the Public Service (Values and Principles) (Amendment) Bill, (National Assembly Bill No 46 of 2022) and the National Construction Authority (Amendment) Bill (National Assembly Bill No.59 of 2022). We were in the process of considering the Kenya Drugs Authority (Amendment) Bill (National Assembly Bill No.54 of 2022) when the Member for Ruaraka, Hon. Kajwang’ rose on his seat and notified the Chairperson of the lack of quorum. In line with Standing Order 35, I ordered the Quorum Bell to be rung for 10 minutes, after which we had not achieved the quorum. Therefore, I rise to report that there is no quorum in the House. Thank you."
