    "content": " Hon. Temporary Chairlady, I support the amendments by the Committee. I propose that the best way to approach it is to complete deletion of Clause 7. I am, however, persuaded that the amendment by the Committee will improve this provision. I would, therefore, suggest, in line with our Standing Orders, that you first put the Question in relation to the amendment by the Committee, and then you allow me room to move an amendment to delete Clause 7(a) and (b) and to add the word ‘has’ at (d) so that it is a person who has been convicted, not is convicted, who is unqualified. I would propose that you put the Question on the amendment by the Committee and then you permit me to move the amendment instead of deleting it."
