Temporary Chairlady, I beg to move: THAT, Clause 8 of the Bill be amended in sub-clause (7) by inserting the words “fair representation of persons with disabilities” immediately after the words “regional balance.” The import of this, which I have tried to persuade the Chairman through the Deputy Speaker, is to add a language of the Constitution that includes after the words “regional balance”, “fair representation of persons with disabilities”. I said it is in concurrence that the proposed amendment be carried."
